It's a very easy task to accomplish. In a few steps, I get winXP running on my MBP.

1-Go to Boot Camp Assistant
2-Define size of the windows partition
3-put the windows cd inside, start the installation. it will reboot and proceed with the installation process
4-put in snow leopard DVD to have all the drivers installed.
5-to switch between mac and windows, pres Alt during boot process.

That's all.
